With this vehicle being a van, the audio system isn’t of any real quality. We upgraded the front component speakers to a set of Hertz ESK165L.5 6.5″ components, sound proofed the doors and added a JL Audio 6″ w3 sub enclosure mounted under the seat. Both these were driven from a Hertz HCP4 4 channel amplifier and the system ROCKED!
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to yourself and your team on the fantastic job you did on my BMW 1 series. Initially I was stunned by what you guys had managed to achieve using a standard head unit. The sound quality is awesome, I am hearing things I have never heard in tracks I listen to time and time again. Now that I’ve had some quality listening time the system continues to only impress me. The install of the speakers and amplifier is exceptional to say the least. In line with the high level of standards you guys install to and combining this with the excellent customer service Source Sounds provide, I can only applaud you for the operation you guys have there. Just would like to say a big thank you to Lee and all the team there for sorting my music system out in my car today. It was much appreciated that you managed to help me to pick a new cd player and install it and also the help after showing me how it all worked. Great service and help from all in the shop (know you were all rushed off ya feet) and still managed to help me out. Already in talks of planning another audio system upgrade with them…
Im from Leicester they are in Sheffield about 75miles away… more then happy to travel to them as never had any issues once my cars drove out, they definately know their stuff… their customer service and help are TOP
