Navigation Upgrade to 2004 Range Rover Vogue
As with many vehicles of this age, the car suffers from a common fault of water ingress in the rear passenger boot area. Unfortunately, this is where all the modules for the audio system are fitted so many Range Rovers develop faults with the audio system.
This vehicle was no exception. When the factory amp was removed it was found to be ‘swimming’ in water. Have no fear, here at Source in Sheffield we have the solution to this common problem. We removed the factory navigation system and replaced it with a Kenwood double DIN touch screen system that also gave DVD playback, iPod connectivity and Bluetooth hands free control. We also fitted a Hertz HE2 amplifier to take care of the signal which powered the factory subwoofer.
