Replacing the Factory Navigation unit in a 2007 Range Rover Sport
This particular customer came to us with a request to replace his standard radio with a Kenwood touch screen navigation system. Normally, this isn’t a problem and it’s a quick fix. The problem however, was the vehicle was equipped with the Harman Kardon upgraded audio package with touch screen navigation system.
After using several ‘hard to find’ interface modules, we managed to upgrade to the Kenwood DNX7210BT double din navigation system. We had to install a 2 channel amplifier to power the subs in the back door and retained all the factory steering wheel controls.
On collection of the vehicle the customer was mightily impressed with not only the quality of the Navigation, but also the massive improvement in sound quality through the Harmon Kardon speakers.
