With the BMW 5 series, as with most new cars, the dashboard doesn’t lend itself to having a display screen mounted in many places. The 5 series actually has a little pocket below the radio and this customer wanted the screen display mounting in it. We made a small custom surround and trimmed it in alcantara to give it that extra special look. The customer was over the moon when he came to pick up his car.
I bought a car radio from somewhere else with the intention of replacing the factory installed one. I contacted Halfords and they bluntly told me that they did not fit a radio that was not supplied by them. I then stumbled upon Source Sounds on internet and decided to give them a try.

They changed the fascia and in the process provided extra space for auxiliary equipment (space that had been covered by only two knobs on the previous radio). They kept me updated on the progress. Just want to say a massive thanks to all the lads at source for doing a perfect job of my stereo, sub and amp. I couldn’t be happier with how it looks and sounds.
